Introduction x

We have been set the task of creating the opening sequence of a film.
After we had researched and sat down in a group we decided that there was a gap in the market for a new british gangster film as this is what our research indicated .We wanted to create a british crime film (gangster) so using our textual analysis we took inspiration from films like Goodbye Charlie Bright , Snatch , Lockstock and The Buisness aswell as others .
Many of the Gangster films we watched included Freeze frames with names as titles so we decided that we would also try to incorporate this into our film. Many also used voice overs so we also used this.
