Casting x

We decided that we needed to cast the right kind of people for our film for it to look believable and for it to be taken seriously.

We realised that to get a whole cast of adults would be difficult and the boys felt that they would enjoy acting so we decided to create a film similair to charlie bright as the main charcters are around the same age as us so we knew that it would not look silly .

We showed a variety of people the following pictures

Every one felt that matt could appear in the film as his voice is quite deep and his look is quite dark and italian looking which is usually connotated with the mafia so people felt that although they knew it was a british crime film they could still see him in a gangster type role.

Although Pat looks old enough some people felt that he was probly not convetional enough to appear in the film.

Some people felt when we questioned him that he looked to young and they were unsure if they could see him in the gangster role as he looked to0 cheeky !

The people that we asked felt that they could see reece in a british crime film as he is very tall but also comes across quite dopey the kind of friendly giant that you usually see in thease films
Every one felt that jordan would be a very good person to cast as he is tall and people felt that they could envisage him in the gangster role.

We decided that we needed an older charecter someone that the boys could look up too , we wanted him to have a mafia type appearance so people know that he means buisness. This is also quite sterotypical.
We decided to use my dad for this role as he is from the east end of london so all ready has an appropriate accent he just needs to play it up a bit for the cameras and as he is greek he is very dark and could pass for a italian . When we asked people if they thought he would be suitable for the role they all agreed .

since the casting we have shot the whole piece and everyone has commented on the chemistry between the actors so we feel that we cast appropriatly
